Originally a Dubliner, then a Chicagoan, and now both a Bathonian and a Redingensian (i.e.: I split my time between the city of Bath and the town of Reading). Designer, art director, creative director, design director, company director—all titles I've held and can still rightfully claim. But I just say I'm a graphic designer.
My work is objective driven, whether that goal is to command attention, raise awareness, communicate an idea, or clarify a complicated concept. My preferred approach is to keep things simple. Organise, reduce, and refine.

Gearóid is an Irish name that can be translated as king of spears. It's of Norman derivation, as is Burke, from de Burgh, meaning "of-the-town." Names with similar etymology to Gearóid are Gerhard, Gerard, Gérard, Garrett, Gareth, and Gerrit—though not Gerald.
